Operate & close

Run a campaign once it is open: watch the workload, reassign what is stuck, escalate what is late, and close it against a resolved snapshot. Closing is a commitment — the snapshot a campaign opens and closes against is resolved or chosen explicitly, never implied by the moment the button was pressed.
